Gontram Architecture’s NCAA Pool – Round 1 complete

Day 2 was not as crazy as Day 1, but still had some surprises.  Cornell ends the Ivy League drought by knocking off Temple (yes, I got that one right).  Missouri sends Clemson home early (got that one wrong).  Georgia Tech edged out Oklahoma State.  All other games went to the higher seed.

Michigan State moves on with the help of a “friendly” lane violation call in the waning seconds.  Really?  A lane violation?

Duke absolutely CRUSHED poor, little Arkansas-Pine Bluff.  But, they now face California on Sunday (ominous music in the background, followed by choking sounds).

So, after the First Round, Joe Stewart and Fred Siegle are tied for 1st Place in the Pool, followed by John Talbert in 3rd.

Check out the Reports to get specific information.  Round 2 should be interesting!
