More work this past week putting final touches on the new and expanded Showroom for Michael Jordan Nissan in Durham, NC.
The Nissan “cloud” fixtures were installed. This is particularly exciting since the usual way to do this is with a large array of 2×4 fluorescent troffer fixtures. However, in this instance, CREE has successfully lobbied to allow their LED fixture be used in place of fluorescents – a first for Nissan. 2×4 LED troffer fixtures are installed to provide a much more even light quality, with longer life and lower energy usage as added benefits.
Ceramic tile work continues as the flooring is extended into the front half of the Showroom.
This project is being delivered through an Architect-led Design-Build process with Gontram Architecture and Ten Penny Construction, Inc.
